Friends of Brookside School (FOBS)

​​About FoBS

Friends of Brookside (FoBS) is a friendly group of parents, carers and teachers working together to support our school community.

Our aim is simple – to raise funds that enhance the children’s school experience and create opportunities that go beyond the classroom. Every penny we raise goes directly back into the school to benefit all pupils.

We help fund things such as:

• School trips

• School equipment and resources

• Leavers’ books and hoodies

As well as fundraising, we also organise fun events throughout the year to bring everyone together, including:

• School discos

• Fun days

• Summer fetes

• Christmas bazaars

• Pre-loved uniform sales

FoBS is all about community. Whether you can give a little time or a lot, every bit of support makes a real difference—and we’re always happy to welcome new faces.

Not only do we have our committee members, we also have a wide family of dedicated and wonderful FoBS volunteers who spare their time to come to meetings and make the events and fundraisers a huge success.  

We’re always looking for new volunteers to help with events, ideas, and fundraising. You don’t need to commit to everything—any support, big or small, is hugely appreciated.
